Neutering campaign March 2026

From 9 to 12 March 2026, dogs and cats were neutered free of charge in cooperation with Tajdo and Zanzibar Animal Care. At the same time the animals received basic medical treatment. The goal was to help stray animals and local pet owners alike.

The result: 143 animals neutered in just four days, 121 cats and 22 dogs.

Why this matters so much: without neutering, stray cats and dogs multiply uncontrollably. With every litter, the number of animals who have to live on the street without care grows. Neutering tackles exactly that. It is one of the most effective ways to reduce the suffering of street animals in the long term.

Campaigns like this are only possible through donations. Thank you to everyone who made these days possible. You can find more about the campaign on the project page.
